R+Co is not based on a single hairdresser or technique; instead, it looks at the totality of the industry and reflects that back to stylists and their clients. This Collective is composed of a rule-bending group of not-so-like-minded individuals whose sum is definitely greater than its parts. Join us to explore their perspectives in hairdressing.
This one-day class will focus on a style R+Co has dubbed as the Modern Beehive. This look takes shape from backstage at NYFW, where R+Co's Co-Founder, Garren, created looks that were inspired by the Ronettes and the Shangri-Las. This updo is versatile in its ability to be a cleaned-up chic updo, or a rough texture for a rocker, bad-girl vibe.
Students will have the opportunity to learn through demonstrations as well as hands-on application of styling techniques on live models.

Model Requirements for Bring Your Own Model Hands On Ticket-
- Model must have hair at least 3 inches past collar bone, but no longer than 12 inches past collarbone
- No bangs
- Medium density & texture
- No extensions, or excessively thick, long, curly or ethnic hair
- No Keratin treatments
- Make up ready
- Attire: all black
- Model must arrive by 2:15pm if not staying for demo portion of the day.
